I didn’t see your request for podcasts on the Twitters because I’ve been a little…busy. So, here are my recommendations. I’m always into the podiobooks and audio dramas, so here are a couple I’m liking right now.
1) We’re Alive – zombiepodcast.com (zombies, but really well done)
2) Underwood & Flinch – underwoodandflinch.com (vampires, but really well done)
I didn’t go looking for either of those podcasts, but they found me one way or another and I enjoyed them. Not sure they’re what you’re looking for, but they weren’t exactly what I was looking for and I really enjoy them.
I listen to mars needs podcasts, a show done by a guy in portland oregon. He does talk about comic book and comic book movies a lot, but he also talks about other stuff also. I found them while looking to network with other podcasters on twitter. I think it is more along the lines of my show and your show, and is not married to a subject and very conversational in nature.

The mainstream podcast you might like is WTF, by Mark Maron. it is usually put out 2 days a week and does in depth of interviews different comedians and celebrities.
