Crazy episode but a lot of fun. Congratulations on doing a show once a week. I like it although I know by the end of November you will be back to doing monthlies.
Congrats on selling the records. I’ve been thinking that I need to ditch a lot of my physical media to free up some space. If I could get some money in the process, that would be great.
Now as for the OEM version of the OS, I didn’t know that a branded version would work. I always thought they coded those to a certain set of hardware and that it didn’t work on others. I always but the OEM of Windows because I have been known to build my own PCs, but mine were not marked for a specific vendor. They were sold for independent computer shops that build their own from parts. If that works though, I have some orphan XP discs whose PCs have passed on. Might be worth me dragging it out of a box to try for a dual boot on my MBP.
